Gallery Nurture by Nature grows out of the philosophy that design is a deeply human and collaborative process. Founded by Vermont-based designer Kate Swanson, the gallery extends the work of her interior and architectural design studio into a platform that celebrates collectible objects and the makers behind them.

Far from the sterility of a white-box gallery, the space reflects warmth, material richness, and a reverence for craft. Natural textures, thoughtful contrasts, and preserved architectural details create an environment that feels alive - an invitation to slow down, listen, and engage in quiet conversation with the work.

The gallery exists at the intersection of art and everyday life, emphasizing design that carries memory, presence, and connection. Each piece is approached not just as an object, but as a story, with Swanson serving as both curator and storyteller. Transparent pricing, supportive consignment terms, and an ethos of relationship-building position the gallery as a space of trust and collaboration within Burlington’s growing creative community.

Rooted in Vermont’s fluid design identity - one shaped by people, history, and natural rhythms - the gallery honors the region’s tradition of craftsmanship while fostering innovation. It is a space that embraces belonging, connection, and the enduring power of objects to nurture joy, sanctuary, and meaning.
